«Gipsy Kings» is the self-titled debut album by Gipsy Kings, released in 1988 on A.1. Records, on CD.
The group displays their characteristic blend of flamenco, pop and Catalan rumba with energetic guitars and vocals. It includes two very representative songs, «Bamboleo» and «Djobi Djoba», which condense the festive, danceable spirit of the repertoire.
The UK and European edition has catalogue number A1 C.D. 1003; credits list A.1. Records and Dureco Holland.
For those who enjoy flamenco, Catalan rumba and Latin music from the 1980s.
