«Grateful Dead» is the live album by Grateful Dead, released in 1971 by Warner Bros. on CD.
Recorded in front of an audience and condensed from a double LP to a single CD, it features eleven tracks performed in concert. It alternates psychedelic rock, country and blues in songs such as «Bertha», the extended «Wharf Rat» and the cover of «Me and Bobby McGee».
Also known as «Skull & Roses» for the skull-and-roses cover, it was the band's first gold album.
