«Gregorian Chants» is the Gregorian chant compilation by various artists, released in 1993 by Music Club, on CD.
The album brings together a selection of chants and liturgies recorded by different French monastic communities, such as the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Ganagobie and Saint-Gall Cathedral. The pieces retain the contemplative and devotional character of the medieval repertoire: it includes «Alma Redemptoris Mater», «Notre Père» and «Regina Coeli».
The CD, released by Music Club under license from Milan Ltd, contains 24 tracks and totals 74:38 in duration.
For classical and medieval music listeners seeking a sacred repertoire of a contemplative nature.
