The album brings together ten original songs by Wood, with minimalist instrumentation and a very personal voice guiding emotive melodies. The lyrics, introspective in tone, observe everyday life, relationships and human emotions, and the whole creates an intimate, reflective atmosphere within contemporary British folk.
The CD, with catalog number RUFCD012, was distributed by Proper Music Distribution and sits within English acoustic folk.
For listeners of acoustic folk and singer-songwriter music who appreciate intimate works with sober instrumentation.
