«Harmonica Plays Gershwin» is the album by Jesús Palazón and Rubén Andreu Trio, released by Ona Digital on CD.
Eleven pieces in which Jesús Palazón on harmonica and the Rubén Andreu Trio on piano recreate George Gershwin standards such as 'Embraceable You', 'Our Love Is Here to Stay' and 'I Got Rhythm'. The record turns the composer's songbook into an elegant repertoire close to instrumental jazz, with a singular texture.
The cover shows a hand with a harmonica over piano keys, with Gershwin's name in red and the title in yellow calligraphy.
A record aimed at lovers of jazz and instrumental versions of Gershwin standards.
