«Haydn: Symphonies Nos. 45, 48 & 102» is the album by Joseph Haydn with the Capella Istropolitana and Barry Wordsworth, released in 1991 by Naxos on CD.
The CD brings together three symphonies by Joseph Haydn: No. 45 in F-sharp minor, known as «La despedida»; No. 48 in C major, «Maria Theresia», and No. 102 in B-flat major. The Capella Istropolitana, conducted by Barry Wordsworth, offers a performance with contrasts between fast movements and adagios; in the famous «Farewell», the musicians leave the stage one by one.
The recording was made between December 1 and 5, 1989, in the Moyzes Hall of the Slovak Philharmonic. Total duration: 72'42". Catalogue number: 8.550382.
