«Highway 61 Revisited» is Bob Dylan's folk rock album, released in 1991 by CBS/Sony on CD.
The title refers to the road that connected Duluth, Dylan's hometown, with the cities of the American South whose musical tradition shaped his work. Recorded in 1965, the album reflects his transition to an electric sound, with biting lyrics and surreal imagery, and has become one of the essential titles in his discography.
The original album was released in August 1965 by Columbia Records and reached number 3 in the US and number 4 in the UK. This Spanish CD edition was reissued in 1991.
Aimed at fans of folk rock and Bob Dylan's electric period, as well as those seeking a CD edition of this sixties classic.
