Following the success of his award-winning album Huellas (2012), Jorge Pardo releases this album under an exotic title, representing the fruits of his continuous curiosity, experimentation, and search. The album features a core instrumentation of flutes, saxophones, Hammond organs, bass, and flamenco guitars. This time, his search has led the flutist to work with rhythms far from flamenco or jazz to focus on the 'groove', while maintaining the pure sounds of these two musical forms to which he has contributed so much. Historias de Radha y Krishna explores a different, daring concept, where Jorge plays with elements such as electronic bass, hip hop, special instrumentation, and new ambient sounds, without losing the essence of his sound and personality.
