«Homemade» is the blues album by Cephas & Wiggins, released in 1999 by Alligator (H'Art), on CD.
John Cephas's guitar and Phil Wiggins's harmonica converse with complicity in an acoustic blues that draws from the Tidewater and the Piedmont. The performances, unhurried and with a homemade feel, sound intimate and full of nuance, without stridency or artifice.
Single-CD album, with catalogue number ALCD 4863 and reference AL 4863 02, originally released in the United States.
Fans of acoustic blues and guitar-harmonica duos, especially Piedmont blues and the American coastal sound.
