«Hummusman!» is the album by Biflats, released in 2019 by Picap on CD.
Album by Biflats, a festive proposal fusing brass band, folk and gypsy jazz from the cobla tradition and cultural fusion. It presents Hummusman, an antihero who sows chaos with a mischievous fanfare after bingeing on hummus. Tracks like «El piratiña», with Adrià Salas, and «Paradís (Paradise)», with Xavi Ciurans, show that rumba spirit.
Hummusman! follows «Catalan Fanfare!» (2017); Spanish edition with twelve songs.
For listeners of festive and fusion music, with echoes of Catalan rumba, folk and gypsy jazz and collaborations from La Pegatina and Gertrudis.
