«I Feel for You» is the album by Chaka Khan, released by Warner Bros. on CD.
The record condenses R&B, funk, soul and electro into a danceable mid-eighties sound. Chaka Khan's voice is the center of a polished production combining synthesizers, funk grooves and pop choruses. It includes «I Feel for You», «Through the Fire» and «This Is My Night», songs that define her most successful period.
The album, released in 1984, was produced by Arif Mardin and Russ Titelman, with contributions from Stevie Wonder, Melle Mel and Grandmaster Flash. This CD edition has one disc.
Recommended for those seeking eighties R&B and funk classics with elegant production and a lead voice.
