«Impuls Trio» is the self-titled album by the Danish group Impuls Trio, formed by Bugge, Bæk & Vinther, released in 2011 by Go' Danish Folk Music on CD.
The repertoire, focused on Nordic folk, combines traditional melodies such as polkas, waltzes and reels with an acoustic, lively treatment. Kristian Bugge, John Bæk and Jesper Vinther play as a trio and add guest musicians on trombone, double bass and drums, which broadens the ensemble's texture.
The single-disc CD was released in Denmark on June 23, 2011, with catalogue number GO0711.
For fans of Nordic folk and acoustic traditional-rooted ensembles.
