«In Utero» is the grunge album by Nirvana, released in 1993 on Geffen, on CD.
The album shows Nirvana at their noisiest and most direct, with dense guitars and a rough production. The lyrics deal with anger, pain and the pressure of fame, with standout moments such as Heart-Shaped Box, Pennyroyal Tea and All Apologies.
Originally released on September 13, 1993, it is Nirvana's third and final studio album. It includes 12 songs, recorded by Steve Albini and mixed by Scott Litt.
Aimed at fans of grunge and alternative rock, especially those who appreciate Nirvana's raw sound and 90s rock.
