«Isula Ranni» is the Sicilian folk album by Unavantaluna, released in 2014 by Felmay as a double CD.
The Sicilian group Unavantaluna recreates the tradition of their island in «Ritta», with reinvented popular pieces, and «Manca», with eleven original songs of Sicilian roots and a contemporary vision. The acoustic instrumentation and arrangements close to world music reflect the island's landscape and the sea.
The first disc is titled «Ritta» («right»), while the second is called «Manca» («left»).
Aimed at listeners of Italian folk music, world music, and proposals that update Mediterranean folklore.
