«La Grande Sarabande» is the baroque music album by the Leopoldinum Chamber Orchestra of Wrocław, released in 1990 by Auvidis, on CD.
It brings together well-known pieces from the baroque repertoire in chamber versions: the Sarabande by Handel that gives the album its title, Pachelbel's Canon and Albinoni's Adagio, along with works by Corelli, Vivaldi, Rameau and Haydn.
The Leopoldinum Chamber Orchestra of Wrocław performs under the direction of Karol Teutsch; the recording is presented on a single CD.
For fans of baroque music and chamber versions of famous pieces.
