«La Nuit Transfigurée / Sextuor à Cordes» is the album by Quatuor Talich, released in 2003 on Calliope, on CD.
The disc combines «Verklärte Nacht» (La Nuit Transfigurée), Op. 4, by Arnold Schönberg, with the String Sextet in A major, Op. 48, by Antonín Dvořák. Quatuor Talich, with Václav Bernášek and Jiri Najnar, performs two chamber works: the emotional intensity and late Romanticism of Schönberg against the melodic lyricism and Czech character of Dvořák.
French reissue from 2003 on the Calliope label, with one disc.
For fans of chamber music and performances by Quatuor Talich.
