«Last Exit to Brooklyn» is the soundtrack album by Mark Knopfler, released in 1989 by EMI, on CD.
Score composed by Mark Knopfler for the 1989 film of the same name, with an orchestration far from the Dire Straits sound. This soundtrack combines passages of tension, such as «Riot» and «The Reckoning», with moments of urban melancholy like «Victims».
This remastered edition includes the nine pieces performed by Guy Fletcher and mixed by Bill Schnee at Air Studios in London.
For fans of Mark Knopfler and collectors of 1980s film music.
