«Le Jeu de Daniel / Lamentations de Jérémie» is the medieval music compilation by The Clerkes of Oxenford, released in 1988 by Calliope on CD.
It brings together two choral works from the liturgical tradition: the 12th-century medieval drama Le Jeu de Daniel (Ludus Danielis), based on the biblical Book of Daniel, and the Lamentations de Jérémie à 5 voix, by Renaissance composer Robert White. Both pieces are performed by The Clerkes of Oxenford under the direction of David Wulstan.
The recording was made in Oxford in 1977; the CD has a total duration of 73:53 and the cover features the Diapason d'Or award badge.
For fans of early music, medieval liturgical dramas and Renaissance polyphony.
