«Live in the USA 1950 Volume One» is the album by Jimmy Dorsey's Dorseyland Jazz Band, released in 2017 by Jazz Crusade, on CD.
Recorded live at the Hotel Stadler in New York in 1950, the disc captures two dixieland jazz sessions by Jimmy Dorsey's Dorseyland Jazz Band, with Charlie Teagarden on trumpet, Cutty Cutshall on trombone, and Jimmy Dorsey on saxophone. It is an example of hot jazz performed by a small ensemble, in contrast to the big bands led by the Dorsey brothers.
