«Lo Cortez no quita lo Cabral» is the live album by Alberto Cortez and Facundo Cabral, released on CD by EMI Latin in 1994.
The album captures the on-stage encounters of Alberto Cortez and Facundo Cabral during their 1994-95 tour, with songs and conversations between the two. The program combines Cortez's melodic lyricism with Cabral's direct word and humor, in a popular music repertoire linked to the Latin American Nueva Canción.
The CD edition was released as a tour compilation album, within the Latin and Nueva Canción genres.
A work especially suited to fans of Nueva Canción and Latin pop of the nineties.
