«Lus» is the folk album by Marta Quintana, released in 2014 by Discmedi, on CD.
The album was born from harpist and singer Marta Quintana's encounter with eleven poems by Xosé M. Díaz Castro from his work Nimbos, set to music with guitars by Cuchus Pimentel. Its lyrics champion the land, truth and beauty, with a social undercurrent and a reading on the role of women; standouts include «Esmeralda», «Penélope» and «Nimbos».
All compositions are by Marta Quintana; Cuchus Pimentel handled production, recording and arrangements; René Molinos did the mastering, and C. Pordeus the graphic design.
For those who appreciate Galician poetry set to acoustic folk arrangements and for followers of Marta Quintana.
