«Maria Bonita» is the single by Spanish artist Francisco, released in 1995 by Fonomusic, on CD.
On this CD, Francisco covers in a Latin ballad style some of the best-known songs by Agustín Lara, a key Mexican composer of romantic music. «Maria Bonita», which gives the single its title, and «Granada» are two standout examples; the performances combine Latin pop with folk sounds.
Spanish edition released as a CD single with catalogue number CDS-031, in a slim jewel case. The recording falls within the Latin ballad and folk genres.
Suitable for listeners of Latin ballads and fans of Agustín Lara covers.
