«Meditation for Piano» is the album by Jaroslav Filip, released in 2012 by Awika on CD.
The CD brings together seven instrumental piano pieces with a classical and folk approach. The music progresses with a serene, stripped-back tone; occasional birdsong and bell chimes appear over the piano without overloading the result. The whole sounds natural and intimate, and works well as a relaxing background for meditation.
The edition is a stereo single-disc CD of European provenance with catalogue number HS-08; besides Awika, it is associated with the labels Healing Sounds, Transmusic and Top Masters Ltd.
Suitable as ambient music for meditation or rest; one review highlights it as accompaniment in yoga classes.
