«Messe Pour Double Chœur» is the album by Frank Martin and Olivier Messiaen, with the RIAS Kammerchor and Daniel Reuss, released in 2012 by Harmonia Mundi on CD.
The CD brings together choral works by Frank Martin and Olivier Messiaen: the Messe pour double chœur a cappella, a mass for two choirs that is a profession of faith; the Cinq Rechants, which Messiaen considered one of his best works; and also Songs of Ariel and O sacrum convivium.
CD edition from the Musique d'Abord series (catalog HMA 1951834), 2012 reissue from the Harmonia Mundi label.
Will appeal to fans of twentieth-century choral music and the repertoires of Martin and Messiaen.
