The album marks a turning point in Jarre's career by integrating the voice as a central element, combining house, techno, trance and downtempo with ambient passages. It is the artist's first work with actual songs, where his vocoder-processed voice alternates with invited female voices. Notable tracks include 'C'est la vie', 'Tout est bleu' and 'Rendez-vous à Paris', the latter featuring Sharon Corr on violin.
Released by Disques Dreyfus with catalogue number FDM 36164-2, the album includes twelve tracks.
