«Millennium Collection» is the Miles Davis compilation, released in 2000, on double CD.
The album brings together 36 tracks by Miles Davis and traces the trumpeter's evolution within jazz: from the bebop of his early bands to cool jazz, hard bop and modal jazz, up to fusion. The selection works as a representative anthology of Miles Davis's jazz.
The release is attributed to Saar s.r.l. and TIM The International Music Company AG, with catalogue reference 204043-304.
An anthology useful both for listeners who already know Miles Davis and for those approaching his work for the first time.
