«Minor Swing» is the jazz album by guitarist Gary Potter, released in 2000 by String Jazz Records on CD.
Gary Potter leads a quartet in which Christian Garrick plays violin, Nils Solberg rhythm guitar, and Andy Crowdy bass. The album moves between gypsy jazz and post-bop, with the guitar as the axis of arrangements that combine melody and rhythm.
Recorded at Crimson 2 Studios, Sale (UK). Single-disc album.
Will appeal to those who appreciate small-ensemble acoustic jazz.
