«Mona» is the debut album by American rock band Mona, released in 2011 by Universal-Island Records Ltd. on CD.
Mona's self-titled album brings together ten tracks of alternative rock with a strong pop element, recorded in the band's house basement to preserve a direct, organic sound. Nick Brown (vocals, guitar and keyboards) leads a repertoire that highlights 'Listen to Your Love', 'Trouble on the Way' and 'Teenager', the album's second single.
The band is a Nashville quartet formed by Nick Brown, Vince Gard (drums), Zach Lindsey (bass) and Jordan Young (guitar); the CD has a duration of 35 minutes.
An album for those seeking alternative rock with pop influences, prominent guitars and the energy of a first release.
