«Mozart: Organ Works» is the classical music album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with Herbert Tachezi on organ, released on CD by Teldec Classique in 1997.
It collects Mozart's organ works: church sonatas, a gigue, and pieces written for mechanical organ. These include the Adagio and Allegro in F minor K. 594, the Fantasia for mechanical organ, and the Andante in F major K. 616. The performance combines the organ with violins and cello.
Stereo remastered CD from the Das Alte Werk series, recorded at the Maria Treu Basilica in Vienna. Total duration: 47:07. Performers include Alice Harnoncourt and Walter Pfeiffer on violin and Nikolaus Harnoncourt on cello.
For those interested in classical music and in Mozart's less common repertoire, particularly his pieces for mechanical organ.
