«Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante K 364 & K 297b» is the album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, released in 1998 by Intersound Records on CD.
The CD brings together two Mozart concertante symphonies: the Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat major K.364, for violin and viola, and K.297b, for wind instruments. In both, the orchestra dialogues with the soloists and shows the balance between individual display and ensemble characteristic of classicism.
Released by Intersound Records on 5 November 1998; performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Jonathan Carney, who also acts as violin soloist.
Aimed at classical music enthusiasts, especially those seeking orchestral versions of Mozart's concertante symphonies.
