«Naked Lunch» is the soundtrack to David Cronenberg's movie, composed by Howard Shore with Ornette Coleman, released in 1992 by Milan on CD.
The music combines Ornette Coleman's free jazz with orchestral passages from the London Philharmonic Orchestra, creating an unsettling and surreal atmosphere that evokes the hallucinated world of David Cronenberg's movie. The album alternates contemplative and disturbing textures that sustain the film's tension.
European single-disc edition released by the Milan label; the cover shows the alternative title «Festin Nu».
Aimed at soundtrack collectors and fans of David Cronenberg's cinema and avant-garde jazz.
