«On Course» is the album by Christopher Hollyday, jazz saxophonist, released in 1990 on Novus, on vinyl LP.
Instrumental album by alto saxophonist Christopher Hollyday combining hard bop with smooth jazz. Throughout its tracks, the alto sax leads the melody with agile, melodic phrasing, supported by a rhythm section that holds the pulse and leaves room for solos. It is a sample of 1990 jazz aimed at relaxed listening, without losing the intensity of bop.
For jazz collectors and lovers of instrumental music. A representative work of 1990 jazz, between hard bop and smooth jazz.
