«On Every Street» is the rock album by Dire Straits, released in 1991 by Warner Bros. Records on CD.
The album, released six years after the massive success of Brothers in Arms, shows Dire Straits exploring country, blues, and the nocturnal melancholy characteristic of the group. It includes songs like «Calling Elvis», «Heavy Fuel» and «The Bug», with a sound that incorporates steel guitar and a more restrained, cinematic approach than their previous work.
The CD contains one disc with twelve songs and was released by Warner Bros. Records in 1991.
Recommended for fans of Dire Straits, classic eighties rock, and Mark Knopfler's guitar.
