«Piano Trios: D. 898 / D. 28» is the chamber music album by the Stuttgart Piano Trio featuring works by Franz Schubert, released in 1989 by Naxos on CD.
It brings together two piano trios by Franz Schubert: the Trio No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 99, D. 898, renowned for its lyrical melodies and exuberant harmony, and the early Trio in B-flat major, D. 28, which already hints at the composer's melodic talent. The Stuttgart Piano Trio's performance preserves that expressive character.
DDD recording from 1988, with a total duration of 52'14". Single-disc edition, catalogue number 8.550131.
For classical music enthusiasts and, in particular, chamber music of the Romantic era.
