«Plátano maduro» is the album by Son de la Rambla, released in 2012 on Picap, on CD.
The album offers traditional Cuban music from Barcelona, with a repertoire of son and salsa that reflects the fusion of the local scene with Caribbean roots. The cover, with a boat shaped like a banana and musicians on board, anticipates the festive tone of the work.
The album commemorates the tenth anniversary of Son de la Rambla (2002-2012) and was released as a single-disc CD.
For fans of Cuban music, son and salsa who value proposals with traditional roots and a Barcelona air.
