«Playa Total 2009» is a various artists compilation released in 2009 by Open Records, on CD.
A summer compilation of twenty tracks of euro house, merengue and synth-pop, with danceable versions of popular songs of the season. The cover presents it as «the album of the summer» and includes, among others, «Vive la Vida», «The Boy Does Nothing» and «Colgando en tus Manos».
The back cover credits Open Records, S.L. as publisher and specifies that the performers of these versions are not the artists who popularized the tracks.
