«Pleasantville» is the soundtrack to the movie of the same name, a various-artists compilation released on CD by Columbia in 1999.
The soundtrack blends jazz, rock and roll and pop rock to evoke the 1950s sitcom in which two teenagers become trapped. It includes Fiona Apple's version of «Across the Universe», «Take Five» by The Dave Brubeck Quartet and «(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear» by Elvis Presley.
One-disc CD compilation with catalogue number 492594 2, released by Columbia and Sony Music Soundtrax.
