«Pretaluz» is the album by Waldemar Bastos, released in 1998 by Luaka Bop, on CD.
On this album, Waldemar Bastos combines Latin jazz with world folk and African music. His high-pitched voice and melancholic tone, with accompaniments close to bossa nova, place him within the African music of the 1990s.
CD with a single disc, released by Luaka Bop and Warner Bros. Records. The cover includes the mention «[blacklight]» next to the album title.
For those who enjoy world music and Latin jazz, especially listeners of Césaria Évora and melancholic-toned African music.
