«Reencuentros» is a compilation album by various artists and writers, published by contaminame on audio CD.
It brings together songs and texts by Pedro Guerra, Jorge Drexler, Kevin Johansen, Ismael Serrano, Eduardo Galeano or Ricardo Piglia. It reflects on identity and justice in the face of oblivion and silence, around the appropriated children in Argentina and Uruguay; many do not know who they are. Includes «Cuídame», «El círculo» and «A las madres de Mayo».
It is a disc-book from the «Cuadernos sobre diversidad cultural» collection of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation; its proceeds go to the search for the appropriated children.
A work of interest for those who value social commitment, historical memory and human rights causes.
