«Requiem, Charpentier Te Deum» is the album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Marc-Antoine Charpentier, released in 1990 by Sony Classical on CD.
This CD brings together two sacred works from the classical and baroque repertoire: Mozart's Requiem in D minor, K. 626, and Charpentier's Te Deum. Conducted by Jean-Claude Malgoire leading La Grande Écurie et la Chambre du Roy, the performance combines soloists, choir and orchestra and includes passages such as the «Introitus», the «Dies irae» and the «Lacrimosa».
CD edition from the Essential Classics series, with previously released material digitally remastered.
