«Rockferry» is the debut album by Welsh singer Duffy, released in 2008 by Mercury on CD.
The record offers ten soul and pop tracks with echoes of the sixties, in which Duffy's deep voice is supported by restrained arrangements. It alternates mid-tempos and ballads with a nostalgic air and includes the singles «Mercy» and «Warwick Avenue», as well as melodies drawing on classic R&B.
Single-disc CD edition, with songs performed in English. The album falls within pop, soul and neo soul.
For listeners of classic soul and retro-sounding pop; Duffy was named BBC's «Sound of 2008».
