This CD brings together two original albums from the repertoire of Edmundo Ros and His Orchestra: «Ros on Broadway» and «More Ros on Broadway». The 24 recordings, dating from the late 1950s, feature instrumental versions of well-known Broadway musical numbers arranged for big band with Ros's sophisticated touch, as he then led his orchestra at the Edmundo Ros Club in London. The set offers a sample of the crossover between American musical theatre and the British salon sound of the era.
