«Running on Empty» is the live album by Jackson Browne, released in 2003 by Elektra/Asylum on CD as part of a collection from El País.
Album recorded during Jackson Browne's 1977 tour, though not only on stage: it includes tracks captured in unusual places such as hotel rooms, tour buses, and dressing rooms. The result is a sonic portrait of life on the road and the atmosphere of his concerts at the time.
It is number 8 in the CD collection from the newspaper El País launched in 2003, with a single disc.
Suitable for fans of classic rock, the Californian singer-songwriter, and collector's editions on CD.
