«Schumann: Symphonies Nos. 2 & 3 'Rhenish'» is the album by Schumann with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Kurt Masur, released in 2003 by Teldec Apex on CD.
The album contains two symphonies by Robert Schumann: Symphony No. 2 and Symphony No. 3 'Rhenish', in performances by the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kurt Masur. The 'Rhenish' owes its nickname to the Rhine and represents the composer's romantic orchestral world; the Second complements the program with its symphonic writing.
