«Shades of Blue» is the debut album by Scottish band Jumpin' the Gunn, a blues rock work released by Import on CD in 1993.
The songs, written by guitarist Andy Gunn, were recorded in Memphis with Al Green's rhythm section. The set combines classic blues with rock energy and served as the Scottish band's calling card.
Originally released on April 6, 1993. The cover is a photograph of the three musicians in front of a wooden building with peeling paint.
For blues and rock listeners interested in the Memphis scene and Scottish bands of the nineties.
