«Sinatra at the Sands» is the live album by Frank Sinatra with Count Basie and his orchestra, released on CD in 1987 by Reprise.
Recorded live at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas, it captures Sinatra at his peak with Count Basie's big band and arrangements by Quincy Jones. The repertoire mixes swing and classic ballads, with moments like 'Come Fly with Me', 'Fly Me to the Moon' and 'My Kind of Town', as well as the singer's monologues to the audience.
The concert was originally released as a double LP in September 1966; this CD edition brings the two discs together on one and is produced by Sonny Burke.
Suitable for fans of vocal jazz and big bands, as well as followers of Frank Sinatra's classic live period.
