«Skeletons from the Closet: The Best of the Grateful Dead» is the compilation album by Grateful Dead, released in 1990 on Warner Bros. Records on CD.
A compilation condensing the early years' greatest hits of Grateful Dead, with «Truckin'», «Friend of the Devil» and «Casey Jones» among its most remembered tracks. Its blend of psychedelic rock, folk and country rock offers a representative entry point to the sound the band developed between the late sixties and early seventies.
Originally released as a compilation in 1974; this remastered CD edition came out in 1990 with a single disc.
Ideal for those wanting a gateway into Grateful Dead's catalogue before delving into their studio albums.
