«El sombrero de tres picos» is the album by Manuel de Falla, released by EMI Classics on CD.
The album brings together three works by Manuel de Falla: the ballet that gives the disc its title, El amor brujo and Noches en los jardines de España. These are orchestral pieces combining dance, lyricism and popular rhythms, representative of the composer's Spanish music.
The recording features Victoria de los Ángeles, Gonzalo Soriano, the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Orchestre de la Société des Concerts du Conservatoire, conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini and Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos.
