«Soup» is the album by Blind Melon, released in 1995 by EMI Music, on CD.
«Soup» shows Blind Melon in a darker register than their debut: concise songs with lyrics addressing addiction, death and personal weakness, within alternative rock. Standout tracks include «Walk», «Skinned» and «Mouthful of Cavities».
The album includes 14 songs, with the hidden track «Hello, Goodbye» after «Galaxie». Production was handled by Andy Wallace and Blind Melon.
For listeners of 90s alternative rock and Blind Melon fans interested in the band's more personal and introspective side.
