«Species Deceases» is the EP by Australian band Midnight Oil, released by Sony Music on CD.
Four-track EP combining alternative rock and post-punk with an energetic sound and politically charged lyrics. Includes «Progress», «Hercules» and «Blossom and Blood»; in barely fifteen minutes it sums up the urgency of mid-1980s Australian rock.
Originally released in 1985, it was produced by the band with François Kevorkian and recorded at Paradise Studios. This CD edition is a reissue.
A piece for fans of Midnight Oil and the 1980s Australian rock scene, with an interest in the band's post-punk phase.
